Important Notice – ECHARITY AUSTRALIA

ECHARITY AUSTRALIA is currently undergoing Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) registration, as well as applications for Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and Income Tax Exemption.

Until these approvals are completed, our programs and services are not yet available to the public. They remain in the process of funding, setup, and legal and operational compliance.

Program Development & Community Research

Before any programs are launched, ECHARITY AUSTRALIA will conduct a national Awareness, Research and Development Campaign to ensure our services genuinely meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness in Australia. This will include:

  • Speaking directly with people experiencing homelessness to understand their lived needs.
  • Engaging with Australian Government ministers, departments, and relevant agencies.
  • Working with community organisations, specialists, and third-party groups who can provide data and insight.

We recognise that homelessness is complex, and so are the needs of the community. Support can vary from an apartment suitable for a single non-violent adult, to a four-bedroom home for a single mother with three children, to safe and accessible accommodation for an elderly person requiring additional care. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all solution, and our work will reflect this.

Rapid crisis support including essential supplies, transport assistance, and practical help during emergencies.

Property, Assets & Social Enterprise

Sustainable impact through assets and social enterprise models, with any surplus reinvested back into programs.

Technology & Access

Devices, connectivity, and digital literacy support so people can access education, employment, and services.

Environmental & Infrastructure Support

Practical infrastructure support such as sanitation and hygiene facilities, improving safe and resilient living conditions.

Professional & Advisory Services

Guidance and mentoring that helps individuals navigate complex systems, plan ahead, and build long-term stability.

Collaboration & Grant-Making

Working with aligned organisations to expand reach and deliver outcomes with transparency and accountability.

Counselling & Mental Health

Trauma-informed counselling, crisis intervention, recovery support, grief support, and ongoing mental health services.

Awareness Campaign

Raising awareness to reduce stigma, improve understanding, and drive community action around homelessness, poverty, and social disadvantage. Supporting prevention through education and advocacy.

Founded in September 2025 with the intent to register as a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), Echarity Australia is committed to preventing and alleviating homelessness, poverty, and social disadvantage in Australia and overseas.
